SBI Statement PDF Password Format
Last updated 1 November 2026
The password for an SBI e-statement PDF is the last 5 digits of your registered mobile number followed by your date of birth as DDMMYY. It is 11 digits long, with no spaces or symbols.
Example
- Registered mobile number: 98765 12345 → last 5 digits 12345
- Date of birth: 16 September 1982 → DDMMYY 160982
- Password: 12345160982
Work out your password
If the password doesn't work
- Old mobile number: use the mobile number registered with SBI when the statement was sent, not your current one if you changed it since.
- Date of birth as the bank has it: SBI uses the date in its own records. If that was entered wrongly when the account was opened, the password follows the wrong date.
- Two digits for each part: 5 March 1990 is 050390, not 5390.
- Joint or business accounts: the password may use the details of the primary account holder or the authorised person. If it still fails, ask your branch which details were used.
- Downloaded from net banking: statements downloaded from SBI's website may not have a password at all.
Convert the statement to Excel or Tally
Once you know the password, you don't need to remove it. Aureon Bank Statement Converter opens the password-protected PDF directly and turns it into Excel, CSV or a Tally XML file. Every running balance is checked against the statement. The conversion happens in your browser, so the statement and its password are never uploaded. The preview is free, and downloads cost ₹99 per statement.
